The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider (hoster). Personal data collected on this website are stored on the servers of the hoster. This may include, but is not limited to, IP addresses, contact requests, metadata and communications, contract data, contact details, names, website access, and other data generated through a website.

The hoster is used for the purpose of fulfilling the contract with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and in the interest of secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online services by a professional provider (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with our hoster.

3. Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address.

These data are not merged with other data sources. These data are recorded on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website; for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.

4. Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. Specifically, we process:

• Your name and your e-mail address
• Subject and content of your message
• the page from which you accessed the form and, if applicable, the referring website
• the time of transmission

The specification of the page of origin serves exclusively to assign your inquiry to the correct specialist department in terms of content and to understand which topics are in demand.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) if this has been requested. You can revoke this consent at any time.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected.

E-mail dispatch via Resend

We send the notification of your inquiry to us as well as the confirmation of receipt to you via the e-mail service Resend (Resend, Inc., San Francisco, USA). Your name, your e-mail address as well as the subject and content of your message are transmitted to Resend and processed there exclusively for the purpose of dispatch. We have concluded a contract for order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR with Resend; the transmission to the USA takes place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission (Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c GDPR). The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, the processing of your inquiry.

5. Anonymous Analysis of the Contact Form

In order to recognise at which point the filling out of our contact form is cancelled, we record in anonymous form which steps are run through in the form. The following is recorded exclusively:

• that the form was displayed,
• that the filling in was started,
• the name of the last edited field (e.g. "Message"),
• that the form was submitted.

Explicitly no content entered by you, no IP addresses and no other personal features are saved. For the technical assignment of the steps within a single page view, a randomly generated identifier is used, which is not stored permanently, does not set cookies and does not allow your person to be recognised or cross-page tracking.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a user-friendly design of our contact form (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

6. Recording of Automated Access and Referring Services

We record whether our website is accessed by automated services, in particular search engines and artificial intelligence services, and whether visitors arrive at us via a search engine or an AI service. Only the recognised source (e.g. "Google" or "ChatGPT"), the page accessed and the time are stored.

No IP addresses, no complete browser identifiers and no personal characteristics are stored. An assignment to a specific person is therefore not possible. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in evaluating the discoverability of our website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

7. Fonts

This website uses the fonts Satoshi, Carlito and Fraunces. The font files are located on our own server and are loaded from there. When a page is called up, no connection is established to the servers of font providers; no data is transmitted to third parties.

8. Google Maps, only after click

On the pages with location maps, we embed maps from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map is only loaded when you click on "Load map". Until then, no connection is established to Google. When you click, your browser establishes a connection to Google's servers and transmits your IP address; Google can set cookies and process usage data, also on servers in the USA. The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you grant by clicking and which applies to the respective page view. As an alternative without Google, we link to OpenStreetMap. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

9. SSL or TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have a right to request the correction or deletion of this data.

• Right to data portability according to Art. 20 GDPR, in a common, machine-readable format
• Right to revoke consent with effect for the future

11. Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you lodge an objection, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object to this processing at any time. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for the purpose of direct marketing.

12. Objection to Promotional E-mails

The use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and information material is hereby objected to. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.
